Advocacy & Campaign Training Workshops (ACT)

Our Advocacy and Campaign Training (ACT) Workshops are supported by a generous grant from the Walton Family Foundation. ACT is an abbreviated version of the “boot camp” with an added component focused on education equity and advocacy.

For two days in cities across the country, ACT targets future leaders who are passionate about civic engagement and advocacy, and those interested in education policy and improving access to high quality educational opportunities for all Americans.

We began offering this training in 2019 and are pleased to continue this work into 2022. This program trains tomorrow’s political leaders and arms them with the expertise to succeed and impact all areas of civic engagement, from school board to national office.
