Beverly L. Perry is a former Vice President for Government and Corporate Affairs at Potomac Electric Power Company (Pepco). Ms. Perry joined Pepco in November 1990 as Manager of Government Relations for District of Columbia and Federal Affairs. Her responsibilities have continuously increased and she is now responsible for all of Pepco’s Government, Community and Corporate Relations’ activities, including economic development.

Before joining Pepco, Ms. Perry practiced law with Frank, Bernstein, Conaway & Goldman. Other legal positions held by Ms. Perry include law clerk for Judge Marian Blank Horn of the U.S. Claims Court and attorney advisor with the U.S. Department of Interior, Office of the Solicitor. She is a tobacco farmer from Franklinton, North Carolina. She received her law degree from Georgetown University and her undergraduate degree from George Washington University.

Throughout Ms. Perry’s career she has been an active civic leader. Currently she is a member of the Board of Directors, Greater Washington Urban League; Board of Directors, Kiwanis International; the Board of Directors, African-American Civil War Memorial; the Board of Visitors at Bowie State University; the Board of Directors of the Family Life Center Foundation of the Shiloh Baptist Church; the Board of Directors, Washington, D.C. Alumnae Foundation, Delta Sigma Theta, Inc.; Board of Directors, Keep Washington, DC Beautiful; a member of the Capital City Links, Inc., a member of the Congressional Black Caucus Political Education & Leadership Institute, a member of the Chesapeake Chapter of the Society, Inc., and numerous legal organizations.
